Pick up from you're hotel and proceed to Fort Jesus built by the Portuguese in the 16th Century. The site chosen was a coral ridge at the entrance to the harbor and was built to secure the safety of Portuguese living on the East Coast of Africa. It has had a long history of hostilities of the interested parties that used to live in Mombasa. Omani Arabs attacked the Fort from 1696 to 1698. Between 1837 and 1895, the Fort was used as barracks for the soldiers. When the British protectorate was proclaimed on the 1st of July 1895, the Fort was converted into a prison. The Fort is now an important historical landmark in the East African region.
Your day takes you down an intriguing maze of cobbled narrow streets, ancient mosques and picturesque residential houses evoke the islands medieval past, overhanging balconies and through mysterious doorways to bustling markets filled with exotic spice, fruit and colorful fabrics. Then drive through the Elephant Tusks on Moi Avenue and call in at the Akamba woodcarvers, where you can see the carvers at work and a great opportunity to purchase some of the wonderful crafts and other souvenirs of your stay in Africa.
Has a lunch break. You can has lunch at at a restaurant ( own expense). In the afternoon, visit Dr. Rene Haller’s Nature Park (Haller Park), former quarries now reforested and home to many animals. Currently, Haller Park plays host to a variety of wildlife including hippos, giraffes, buffalos, and antelopes, crocodiles as well as smaller mammals and birds. The Park consists of a Game Sanctuary, Reptile Park, a small demonstration Fish Farm area, Palm Garden, Crocodile Pens and a Giraffe viewing platform, offering a variety of attractions at the various points to educate and entertain the over 160,000 visitors who visit the park every year.

Depart for the Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi – Mombasa highway.
We catch the African sunrise as we progress towards Amboseli
The morning drive is via African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai herdsmen grazing their cattle.
There shall be a brief breakfast stop on the way
On arrival at Amboseli, proceed for a game viewing drive in search of Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Cheetah, Warthog, Ostrich and many more.
The Mount Kilimanjaro dominates the skyline and surrounding country.
It is the tallest mountain in Africa and the highest free standing mountain in the world.
While Mount Kilimanjaro remains in the background we shall marvel at the wildlife and scenery found in this park.

Depart Nairobi at 5am and then drive for 2 and half hours to arrive Nanyuki town at 7.30am. Here you will have a stop over at the equator crossing. This is an imaginary line that divides the earth into 2 hemispheres. north and south. There is a big sign where you will be able to take a photo saying you are now crossing the equator. From here you will proceed for another 15 minutes where you will now be entering the gate.Optional Northern white rhinos visit at an extra cost.Start of first game drive that will last 3 1/2 hours and this will take you to see the chimpanzee and more wild animals on the northern side of the vast conservancy.You will drive to the eastern side of the park where you will be able to visit a blind rhino called Baraka.Arrive at Serena sweet waters lodge by 2 pm. Mount Longonot National park is a popular park for hiking and mountain climbing that takes less than 3-4hrs to climb/hike up and down. It is one of the best adventure day trips from Nairobi. Longonot national park is easy to get to and has the best sightseeing opportunities and one can look inside the mountain crater.
HELL’S GATE NATIONAL PARK
Named for the intense geothermal activity within its boundaries, the Hell’s Gate National Park is a remarkable quarter of the Great Rift Valley. Spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub clad volcanoes and belching plumes of geothermal steam make it one of the most atmospheric Parks in Africa. Hell’s Gate is an ideal venue for a day trip from Nairobi where, in addition to the bio-diversity that includes raptors, visitors can enjoy mountain biking, rock climbing and a natural spa.
DAY 1: 6:00am:- Nairobi - Great African Rift Valley
Depart Nairobi for Mt Longonot National Park going through the Kikuyu lush green highlands and then on the eastern escarpment of the rift valley system.
6:30am: – Great Rift Valley View Point
You will make a scheduled stop at the view point on the side of the escarpment to enjoy the view of the Rift valley floor from a birds eye view. The rift valley system was formed 5 million years ago and the rift runs from the red sea through Ethiopia and Kenya and Tanzania. The rift valley is an active volcanic area and has some of the most interesting features including more than 8 lakes, dormant Lake Bogoria geysers.
You can actually see the volcanic Mt Suswa and Mt Longonot from this high place with their evergreen craters and the undulating green rift valley floor. The view from here is just amazing. Make sure to take as many photos from here as you can.
7:00am: – Mt Longonot National Park
Drop into the rift valley and arrive at the Mt Longonot National Park for your Hike up to the crater. The hike requires medium physical fitness and you will climb through the gulleys that dot the sides of this mountain. You can make some rest stops at the designated places on the trek. You will get to the rim of the crater and look into the awesome crater below. If you have the strength for it, you can go round the rim of the crater.
12:00pm: – Mt. Longonot –Lake Naivasha
Descend from the Longonot mountain for the base at the park headquarters. Relax for some while and take on the drive to Lake Naivasha.
1:00pm: – Lunch at Marina Camp
Arrive at Marina camp and enjoy a sumptuous lunch at their restaurant by the lakeside while watching the lakes beauty and the birds flying by.
2:30pm: – Boat Ride in Lake Naivasha
Go on a hour boat ride in this wonderful rift valley lake. The boat ride will take you to see the hundreds of birds in this lake including the diving African fish eagle which dives in the water to catch fish without ever missing. You will also go to the hippo pool and see the hippos as they swim and bleat inside the water while opening their mouths to over 180 degrees.
4:00pm: – Lake Naivasha – Villa Grazia Hotel.
Depart Lake Naivasha and drive to (Villa Grazia Hotel to relax and overnight stay.
Dinner will be served at the hotel.
DAY 2: Day Tour to Naivasha
After breakfast start to get ready to leave the hotel at 8 am for Hell’s gate with packed picnic lunch.
Arrive at the gate of Hells gate at around 8:30 is. Start of the biking tour at hells gate for 2 hours
12pm – Finish the tours and bring the bikes back at the gate.
1pm – Have picnic lunch.
2pm –. End of all activities start of drive back to Nairobi.
